If God is real, and not a figment of the imaginations of the society in which it was spawned, why didn't North American Indians believe in God instead of their own gods that had decidedly Indian names?
One explanation I heard is that God reveals himself in the manner already familiar to the people to whom God is revealing himself. But that is just an illogical excuse for why an all-powerful, all-knowing deity can speak only a regional language. If there were a singular deity, there would be no reason to have different languages in different parts of the world.
The obvious reason that there are multiple languages is that there is no God. Religions make their gods in their own images.
